맛은 토종인데 이름은 우리 것이 아닌..
하여, 오늘도 찾아본다 ㅎㅎ
 

The origin of LA갈비

 
A : I love LA갈비. It's so flavorful  and juicy.
B : I know. It's one of my favorite food.
A : I've heard that LA갈비 originated in Korea. Is that true?
B : Well, there are two main theories. One theory is that it was created by Korean immigrants in Los Angeles in the 1970s. They used to buy cheap, tough ribs that Americans didn't want, and they would cut them into thin strips and grill them with a marinade. The other theory is that it was created by American maketers in the 1980s. They wanted to sell more American beef to Korea, so they created a new type of rib that was more appealing to Koreans.
A : I see. So, which theory do you think is more likely?
B : I'm not sure. Both theories have their merits. I think it's possible that both of them countributed to the creation of LA갈비.
A : That's interesting. I've never heard that bwfore.
B : Yeah, it's a pretty cool story.
A : I wonder if LA갈비 still popular in Korea.
B : I think it is. It's a classic Korean dish.
