New Year's resolution

 

청룡의 정기를 받은 2024년이 밝았다.

올해는 좀 더 건강에 신경 써야겠다. 많이 움직이자! 몸이 움직이면 맘도 움직이니까 ㅎㅎ

New Year's resolution

A : So,  what are your New Year's resolutions for this year?
B : I'm not sure yet.  I'm still working on it.  I've been meaning to lose weight for a while now.
A : That's great! I should do that too. 
B : Hey, let's work out together 3 days a week during the week!
A : That sounds great! I am also going to try to be more organized. I'm always losing track of my things, especially my keys and wallet. I'm going to putting everything in it's place when I'm done using it.
B : I can relate to that. I'm always late for class because I can't find my keys, and then I have to run to class. I am going to leaving my keys by the door so I can't forget them.
A : I think it's important to set goals for yourself at the beginning of the year. It gives you something to work toward, and It helps you stay motivated.
B : I agree. I'm always more motivated at the beginning of the year, when I have something to work toward.
A : So what are you thinking about doing for your New Year's resolutions?
B : I'm thinking about learning a new language. I've always wanted to be  able to speak Spanish.
A : That's a great idea! Learning a new  language is a challenge, but it's also very rewarding. You should find a language partner. That's a great way to practice speaking.
B : That's a great idea! I'll try to find someone in my Spanish class.
A : I'm sure you'll do great.
B : Thanks. I'm excited to start  the new year with some new goals.

이런 이야깁니다 ~

A : 올해의 새해 결심은 뭐야?
B : 아직 잘 모르겠어. 아직 생각 중이야. 한동안 체중 감량을 생각하고 있었거든.
A : 그거 멋지네. 나도 해야겠어.
B : 그럼, 우리 주중에 3일 정도 같이 운동할까?
A:  그거 좋은 생각이다! 그리고 난 좀 더 조직적으로 되려고 해. 물건을 항상 잃어버리거든. 특히 열쇠와 지갑 같은 걸. 다 쓴 물건은 제자리에 둘 거야.
B : 그거 공감해. 열쇠 못 찾아서 수업에  항상 늦고, 뛰어가야 하거든. 잊을 수 없게 문 앞에 둘 거야.
A : 연초에 목표를 설정하는 게 중요하다고 생각해. 목표가 있으면 노력할 맛도 나고, 동기부여도 되거든.
B : 맞아. 나도 연초에는 항상 더 의욕이 생겨. 특히 목표가 있으면 더 그렇지.
A : 그럼 넌 어떤 새 결심을 생각 중인데?
B : 새로운 언어를 배우려고 생각 중이야. 언젠가 스페인어를 할 수 있으면 좋겠어.
A : 그거 멋지다! 새로운 언어를 배우는 건 도전이지만 보람도 있어. 언어 파트너를 찾아보는 것도 좋을 거야. 말하기 연습하는 좋은 방법이야.
B : 그거 좋은 생각이네. 스페인어 반에서 한번 찾아볼게.
A : 잘 될 거야.
B : 고마워. 새로운 목표를 가지고 새해를 시작할 생각에 설레.
