Tulip Fever란 영화를 보았다. 17세기 네덜란드를 배경으로 암스테르담의 튤립 열풍과 미술, 사랑, 배신 등 다양한 요소를 그린 드라마 영화이다. 자본주의 최초의 버블경제현상이라는 툴립파동. 오늘은, 열풍을 일으킬 만큼 아름다운 튤립에 얽힌 전설을 찾아본다.

The  second knight gave her a  sharp sword. The third knight gave her a jewel  box with filled with jewels.

The girl was grateful all three knights, but she did not want to marry anyone. She wanted to live freely. The three knights were angry at her rejection and cursed her.

"You will be turned into a beautiful flower and be trapped forever."

With those words,  the  girl turned into a beautiful tulip. Her  petals looked like a crown, her leaves  looked like a sword, and her roots looked like a bag of  gold.

This legend explains the beautiful shape and color of tulips. It also enriches the meaning of tulips. Tulips are considered flowers that symbolize freedom and love.

옛날에 로마 성밖에 아름다운 소녀가 살았다.
그녀는 착하고 청순한 이모의 소유자였다. 어느 날 세 명의 기사가 소녀에게 청혼했다. 첫번째 기사는 그녀에게 금으로 만든 왕관을 선물했다. 두 번째 기사는 그녀에게 예리한 검을 선물했다. 세 번째 기사는 보석이 가득찬 보석함을 선물했다.
